Building a new salon

Welcome to my page.

I'm Roxanne, I had started my Hairdressing apprenticeship with Jon Le Court, where training was the forefront of my working career. I learned from some of the best hairdressers and from some of the best mentors. I had a very fortunate beginning.

This laid the foundation for my business career. I ran and owned Roxy Hair on Ross River Road for 6 years. I trained other apprentices who I have had the privelge of working with. Having always worked in a shopping centre environment. I decided to try my luck at setting up a hair salon in one of the big centres. I was given the opportunity at Willows to open up instead a Beauty Salon which became Roxy Beauty Concept. I also did my Diploma in Beauty Therapy with Ella Bache. I have been doing Cosmetic Tattooing since year 2000, and have done many advanced certificates since. This is my absolute love. I love the transition of what Hairdressing and Cosmetic Tattooing can do for someone.

I have taught at Tafe, with a Cert IV in Training and Assessment.

After selling the salon, I became a stay at home Mum. I loved raising my son and watching him become a man. He is now doing his own apprenticeship as an Electrician with his father. So, I now have decided, I need my own career back.

I hope you become involved and love it as much as I do. I will be combining my abilities as a Hairdresser and everything I have learnt by running and working in a Beauty Salon as a Therapist. I will also be offering my skills as a Cosmetic Tattooist.
